Following a recent restructure within the business, our client is looking to recruit a Sales and Office Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickle Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services.

The ideal candidate will have strong Sales, Business Development Management, Key Account Management or ideally Man-Management experience in either Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution, Aerospace and High Value Metals Manufacturing. Alternatively, they may consider applicants with experience of selling a similar product such as Forgings, Castings, Components or potentially Value-Added Services such as Machining etc into Aerospace customers or they are also open to applicants who have experience of working for an Aerospace OEM or Company on a National or Global basis.

As a Sales and Office Manager - Aerospace and High Value Metals (Stainless Steel, Nickle Alloys, Aluminium and Titanium) and Value-Added Services, you will be responsible initially for a team of circa 12 people internally and externally. You will be measured on how you manage, educate, mentor and develop the team, the financial figures you and the team achieve (margins and return on investment) and how key and major accounts develop and grow under your stewardship.

The client is looking to recruit someone who can grow and develop within the business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company and wider group. You will be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who thrives on a challenge and enjoys making profit for the company.

You will possess strong Sales, Business Development Management, Key Account Management or Man-Management experience in Aerospace and High Value Metals Distribution, Aerospace and High Value Metals Manufacturing, a similar product such as Forgings, Castings, Components or Value-Added Services (Machining etc) into Aerospace customers or you will have experience of working for an Aerospace OEM or Company Nationally or Globally.

They require a candidate who leads from the front, has strong presentation skills, is confident, can lead a conversation, has a good personality and is engaging especially in front of clients. They also need someone who has good mentoring skills, good communication skills, is good with people and is used to dealing with different personalities. They also need someone who is driven, ambitious, hardworking, can look ahead and consider what the client may need in some cases before they do and can always spot an opportunity. They will look for someone who is forward thinking, can think outside the box, understands margins and revenue streams but who in certain instances, can challenge what has been done before.
